My Story

Hello, my name is Patrick L Cannon and I welcome you to my web-site Hope For A Troubled
World.

The purpose of my web-site is to share my book entitled His Justice Cannot Sleep Forever with reader all over the world. I have tried to publish my book through the traditional route. But because I was a new writer with no existing platform, agents either would ignore my queries or would give a "Thanks but no thanks" response. Self-publishing was another route but that costs thousands of dollars that I didn't have. Plus the self-publishing industry is riddled with scams.

Therefore I decided to purchase a web-site and put my book on-line. It was the only workable way to share my thoughts with the world.

My book entitled His Justice Cannot Sleep Forever is a conservative look at the end-times that is faithful to the Bible. It contains no date-setting nor sensationalism.

What makes my book different from other books on the subject are my insights. It is not a regurjitation of what is already out there. My insights are fresh, unique, original, and thought-provoking. Plus it is more than just a prophecy book. In it I aim to answer such important questions as: "What value is the Christian faith aside from gaining my 'ticket to Heaven?'" and "How can I get help in this mixed up world?"

As I said earlier my book is written from a conservative view of the Bible. It doesn't promote rigid empty legalism but it does tell people what they need to hear rather than what they want to hear.

If you want popular liberalism then read Michael Moore or Al Franken. But if you want a book that will offer fresh insights into the topics of the end-times, judgment, and afterlife, then I challenge you to read my on-line book. And it is free. You don't have to spend $27 dollars at Barns and Noble to get a copy.

The measure of the greatness of a book is "What does it offer the reader?" I believe my book offers a lot of fresh insights into how to prepare for the end that need to be said.

Thank you for your time. I welcome any comments pro and con.
